Aires was the first-born son of a wealthy family, in the Thesium province of Isenia. He picked up the finer points of public speaking and negotiation from his father, a Diplomat.
One day, when Aires was seven years old, his uncle Taylin visited the household, as family are wont to do. However, during the night, the manor was attacked by bandits. They came to ransack the household, and slay the inhabitants. Aires' uncle, a retired watchman, managed to escape with the boy Aires over his shoulder. He never heard word of his parents again.
For the remainder of his childhood, Aires lived with his Uncle, in Hoden. He learned many things from Taylin. He learned how to use a sword, and he developed a deep understanding of honour, chivalry, and justice.
He swore an oath, that one day he will find those responsible for what happened to his parents, and bring them to justice.
At the age of 20, Aires joined the Guild of Adventurers. His performance within the Guild attracted the attention of Hoden's district governor, whom, after learning of Aires' father's occupation , hired him as part of the retinue of an Isenian Diplomatic Official. He was present during the tactful negotiations that resulted in Trade Agreements between the Isenian Empire, and the country of Shingizu.
At the age of 22, Aires was again hired by Lord Hoden, as a guide and interpreter for Hoden's esteemed celebrities, The Heroes of Hoden, on a journey to Shinguzu. It was there he recieved his fine sword, the Snow Wolf - a finely crafted sword with a blade enchanted with a magickal frost.
To this day, he stands by his friends, and is proud to consider himself on of thier number.
